Sacraments in Our Parish
At the Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, we provide our parishioners with the opportunity to partake in the sacraments of the Catholic Church. These sacraments are: Baptism, Reconciliation (Confession), First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, R.C.I.A, and the Last Rights.
Baptisms by Appointment
Canon 874: “One sponsor, male or female is sufficient, but there may be two, one of each sex.” More than two Godparents are not permitted. “To be admitted to undertake the office of sponsor, a person must be a Catholic who has been confirmed and has received the Blessed Eucharist and who lives a life of faith which befits the role being undertaken.”
First Holy Communion

Marriage
The Archbishop asks that six months notice be given before Marriage and “In all cases where marriages are to take place outside the Diocese, papers are to be sent to the Chancery for the transmission to the Curia of the Diocese where the wedding is to take place.”
The Last Rights
In the event that the Last Rights is required, please contact Fr. Joseph directly.
